Applying for a passport

The Kent Pledge to our children and young people is for them to have a passport by their 16th birthday, sooner if they need to go on holiday with their carers or to take part in school activities.

As part of the application process, you will be asked to provide a photograph of the young person that meets with passport requirements.  The passport will be sent to you by special delivery (or given to you by the young person’s social worker) and you will be asked to keep a note of the expiry date should any changes need to be made.
