In hours
If you need support between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, you should call your fostering social worker.
If they’re unavailable and you need urgent support, you can contact the relevant support team:

Out of hours
We can provide support with emergencies that cannot wait until office hours, for example:
- crisis situations or emergencies (serious illness or bereavement within the family, or an immediate risk to a child in care)
- if a child is missing
- reporting any accidents or emergencies
- supporting carers who may have very recently been matched with a new child and require a welfare check
- providing advice to carers with a child or young person who has challenging behaviour.
Evenings, weekends and bank holidays
We have 2 contact numbers for emergency support between 5pm and 11pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 11pm at weekends and Bank Holidays.
