18+ Care Leavers Service

The 18+ Care Leavers Service support young people, up to the age of 25, who are making the transition from leaving care into independence.

They will:

• appoint a personal adviser to guide and support the young person
• assess what support they need
• prepare a Pathway Plan
• give advice on education, employment and training options
• support those in education to access funds such as a bursary
• provide housing and accommodation support and guidance
• offer help and support with finances and benefits.
