Support for foster children

Kent Cares Town

We have a website for children and young people who are or have been in our care. It's called Kent Cares Town.

It includes podcasts, videos and information about training and workshops. We are really proud of the close working relationship we have with our young people, particularly the ‘participation days’ that are run for foster children and only accessible if you foster for Kent.

Children and Young People's Council

The Children and Young People's Council is an opportunity for children and young people in care to get together, have their say, be listened to and make a difference. They also arrange a number of activities throughout the year. If children in your care are interested in joining the council, find out more on the Kent Cares Town website.

Kent Pledge

We also have the Kent Pledge which sets out what children and young people can expect from us while they are in our care.
